As there are, by my count, at least 5 to 6 teams in the SEC that could win that conference in football and the question for today is this...

What happens if four or five teams that include Tenn, TAMU, Texas, Georgia, Bama and Ole Miss some how tie for the conference championship..??

Sure, they will come up with a winner through their conference championship game but what does that do to involvement in the national playoffs..??

The B!G is a little easier to figure out since there are only four teams (Indiana, Oregon, Ohio St and Penn St) that could still win that conference but all of those teams might make the playoffs, right..??

So, where does that leave the ACC and the Big-12..??

The ACC is going to come down to SMU, Clemson and Miami...

And, the Big-12 is going to come down to BYU, CU, K-State, Iowa St and ASU it looks like...

Could the SEC really get 5-6 teams in the playoffs..??

And, could the B1G get four teams in the playoffs..??

And, what about Notre Dame..??

And, does that mean that the ACC and Big-12 might only get one team in the playoffs (or maybe a team in the Big-12 doesn't get a selection for that matter)...

BYU is the only unbeaten team that is ranked in the Top 10 right now and CU, ISU, K-State and ASU all have two losses as of now...

However, if CU closes the season out at 10-2 and 8-1 does anyone think that the Buffs, with PT coaching the team, that they won't make the playoffs even with two or more losses, if they win the championship..??

In any event, it will be a very interesting road to follow in the coming weeks...

Go ASU and Go Big-12!!!
