PAC-12 (11 other universities):
-Average distance from Tempe is 826 miles
-Number of schools less than 1000 miles is 7
-Number of schools over 1200 miles is 4 (Pullman, Eugene, Corvallis, Seattle)
-Longest distance is Seattle at 1425 miles

XII (15 other universities):
-Average distance from Tempe is 1,125 miles
-Number of schools less than 1000 miles is 5
-Number of schools between 1000-1200 miles is 6
-Number of schools over 1200 miles is 4 (Ames, IA; Cincinnati, OH; Morgantown, WV; Orlando, FL)
-Longest distance is Orlando at 2136 miles

So the average distance is going to be 300 miles higher or an extra hour of flight time.

Overall, not a dramatic difference like USC, UCLA and possibly UW/Oregon plus Stanford/Cal would face in the BIG 10.

Note: Tucson (107), Provo (628), SLC (671), Lubbock (729), Boulder (882), Stillwater (1015), Ft. Worth (1028), Waco (1040), Houston (1074), Manhattan, KS (1112), Lawrence, KS (1162), Ames, IA (1425), Cincinnati (1796), Morgantown, WV (2068), Orlando (2136)
