I was going to give Herm the rest of the season to pass judgement but enough is enough.
RA hired Herm because he would have a buddy in Tempe (had not coached in over a decade), Herm can't find an OC so he retains Likens. Herm has a charming personality, that is about it because his team is not ready on offense and I already see undisciplined players getting penalties. The saddest thing here is Herm not getting an OC and planning for an adequate OL immediately after being hired. GOOD GOD! KENT STATE WAS LAST IN THERE LOWER CONFERENCE AS WAS SAC STATE. Herm smiling on the sidelines rubs off on the players.
I hope Herm does not destroy this sundevil building brick by brick and we are then left with rubble to rebuild.
On the brighter side Gonzales is the real deal and so is Daniels with the right coaching. The defense improved its tackling from last week. Daniels will be clutch.
