What's up Huddle!! Watched a few in-state players the past couple of weeks, who currently have ASU offers, and wanted to provide some insight on how they looked/performed.

2023 Class

Watched Duce in Pinnacle's scrimmage against Hamilton a few weeks ago, he was a one-man wrecking crew. Scored twice on the first three drives against Hamilton's starting defense. Bulldozed through would-be tacklers, showed great balance, superior athleticism. Wouldn't be surprised if this player ends up a 5-Star one day.

Martin is a total stud. He never left the field, he played the entire game at nickel DB (projected college position), WR and returned both kick-offs and punt returns for Basha last Friday. Great tackler, blazing speed, tough in man coverage at the line, one of the best returners in the state.

Transfer from Louisiana, Vessel forced two turnovers (FF and an INT) and was all over the field making plays. Watch that forced fumble hit below right before ball carrier crosses end zone, puts helmet right on ball to force it out.

2023 Players Who do not currently have offers who looked great

This was Milkovic's first game at ILB - played DE the last two seasons for Hamilton and Basha. He looked phenomenal. No false steps, ran hips through contact, racked up 15 total tackles. Hesitate at times (Fully expected in first game at LB ever) but when he started the engine to come downhill, he was a force. Holds offers from Cal, Iowa State, Colorado.

2024 Players

Williams is special - here's my analysis on what I saw from him on Friday, "Williams was incredible in this game., The sophomore gun-slinger threw for three touchdowns and also ran for a touchdown in the big 42-17 win. Williams showed accuracy in all of his throws, but it was the timing and quick release of his passes that impressed me the most about his performance. Williams was on the money with his deep passes, adding beautiful touch for his WRs to run under each ball. He threw strikes to his WRs on intermediate routes, hitting all of them between the numbers with tight spirals. Williams had clean pockets to step up and throw in all night, and he took advantage of that. Williams' speed has increased a lot as well, this was evident on his quarterback scrambles. This is a sophomore QB who plays like a Senior. He's the real deal."

It's early for the 2024's, but I predict Lockhart to be the best DB in this class in Arizona. Started every Game as a Freshmen year for Basha, physical in run force, tremendous athlete who covers on an island. Discipline eyes and great foot work, he has shown all of this that early on in his career. When I spoke to him after the game Friday, he told me he was planning on taking an unofficial visit to ASU this week for UNLV game.

Lastly, didn't watch Rushing play this week, but he let me know that he plans to visit ASU for UNLV game this Saturday as well. 6'5 2024 DE from Salpointe Catholic.
