A few members of the football team did confirm to me an earlier report that tight end Jalin Conyers is in the hospital following a car accident today that took place after practice in the open parking lot (Lot 59) just east of the football practice facility. He reportedly was driving with tight end Curtis Hodges who apparently suffered a minor injury. No word yet if this accident will cause any of them to miss Saturday's game. Conyers was taken to the hospital with a cut to his head, as a result of an accident that occurred when defensive linemen Stanley Lambert and Joe Moore, as well defensive back T Lee were driving in the car that collided with the car that Conyers and Hodges were riding it. No word who was at fault. Was told that Moore and Lambert went to the hospital as well with minor injuries and as a precaution.
