Per Brad Winton of JucoRecruiting.com, ASU is actively involved in the recruitment of 6-9 forward Emmanuel Malou, one of the best 2016 JUCO prospects. Malou just finished his freshman season at Yuba (CA) College where he averaged 14.7 PPG, 8.5 RPG, 1.3 APG, 54.4% FG, 47.3% 3PT
Malou is a nice looking prospect. Highlights can be deceiving, but based on what I've seen, this guy looks like he has NBA-type potential. Here a few of his highlights:

*Another interesting note: Similar to Thon Maker, Malou is originally from Sudan, but moved to Australia and has citizenship there. (Not sure if they're friends/acquaintances, but just pointing that out.)
Malou was supposed to play at St. Thomas Moore Prep (CT), but he tore his meniscus before ever taking the court in a game. Due to the long rehab, he returned to Australia and eventually played for his high school team for a season before returning to America to play a prep season in 2013-14 at ABCD Prep in Iowa. Unfortunately, ABCD Prep was embroiled in an academic scandal, which prevented him from completing the proper coursework to qualify academically. As a result, he decided to go the JUCO route.
