I've listed my top 5 priorities for the new AD. What are yours and why am I right/wrong?
1. Donor relations - gotta repair the relationships that have been hurt over the past few years and maintain the ones we stil have.
2. Related to #1, but get NIL up-to-speed quickly so we can be competitive and, at the very least, keep players at ASU that have proven themselves while we fully ramp up our NIL efforts.
3. Does the department need restructuring? Is there administrative bloat that can be trimmed? Do we have the right people focused on the right things?
4. Do we have too many sports? Can we sustain this number of sports when we move to a conference that doesn't have the same emphasis on olympic sports as the Pac does?
5. Basketball is going to need to raise its game to be competitive in the B12. How can the department help make that happen?
Those would be the top 5 things on my list for the new AD to focus on. What are yours?
