New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been suspended four games by the NFL four games for his role in deflating footballs for the AFC Championship Game. Additionally, the Patriots will also lose a first-round pick in 2016 and a fourth-round pick in 2017 and have been fined $1 million.
As others have said, Brady is getting punished more for the cover up and lack of cooperation than the act itself. Four games in my opinion is just right and it has a chance anyway to be reduced following an appeal. I also think that the team's punishment is in line (albeit strategically given just after the draft) because after the "bounty-gate" precedence teams cannot plea ignorance when it comes to the actions of few individuals in the organization.
Do you agree/disagree with the punishment levied on both Brady and the Patriots?
