I wonder to what degree CDG was aware of issues like being late on scholarship payments.
Living in Las Cruces for six years, I followed UNM and NMSU a bit. The UNM program has had serious financial shortfalls for a few years. NMSU dealt with theirs by being the sacrificial lambs multiple times per season to the likes of us, Alabama, WSU etc...
