ASU has not fared well against Texas in the post season.

In 2009 the Long Horns beat ASU twice in Omaha. The second time being a heart breaking Home Run.

We then came back to the Austin Super Regional in 2011 and after winning game 1 the Long Horns won game 2 and 3 thanks to a controversial interference call.

ASU will be a heavy under dog tomorrow for sure as Texas has one of their strongest teams in recent memory. I will say that ASU has a punchers chance because of the potential of Justin Fall to work deep into a game. The best example of that was when the big lefty handled the #5 Arizona Wildcat offense on the way to a Sun Devil win.

The Sun Devils need Fall to go at least 7 and maybe 8 in order to even have a chance. I'd expect Texas to take notes on how bad our bullpen is and have a game plan to drive up pitch counts.

Even if Fall repeats his performance against Arizona, the Sun Devils are going to have to clean up their play just to hang with the ultra talented Texas club.
