First of all, happy to be here. I'm Fabian.

Pretty beautiful weather in Tempe for bowl practice #2, which made it odd when they started inside the bubble. Offense began warming up inside before everyone was kicked out and moved inside.

Stretch music: "Classic Man (Remix)" by Jidenna ft. Kendrick Lamar, "March Madness" by Future

In Green: Nick Ralson, Dillon Faamatau, Cam Smith, Cade Cote, Armand Perry, Deonte Reynolds. I didn't see Gump Hayes, who left practice yesterday with what appeared to be a wrist injury.

Limited: Ellis Jefferson started out on muscle beach stretching for the second straight day before joining his teammates. Kody Kohl was on a crutch again with a brace on his right knee.

Guests: UCLA RB Paul Perkins, ASU commit Marshal Nathe

Plenty of guys rotated in with the first teams during 11-on-11. Here's what I managed to record on each end.

Offense: Bercovici (QB), Goodman (LT), Westerman (LG), Kelly (C), Teofilo (RG), McGehee (RT), Epps (TE), Chambers (WR), White (WR), Ballage (RB), Richard (RB), Lucien (WR), Gammage (WR), Jefferson (WR)

Defense: Wicker (DL), Cherry (DL), Smallwood (DL), Fiso (SAM), Moeakiola (SPUR), Means (Nickel), Longino (DEVIL), Carrington (FC), Orr (FS), Brown (BC), Sam (WILL), IMR (DEVIL), Ami Latu (DL), Adams (BS), Johnson (FS)

Those on "Muscle Beach" got unusually wet when the sprinklers went off immediately following team tempo.

Highlights from individual drills:

- Connor Humphreys was solid in pass rush drills (Todd Graham said post-practice Humphreys has looked great), with one play standing out. He caught Ami Latu over pursuing and threw him on the ground for a pancake, one of the few of the entire session.

- Taylor Kelly continued working with the quarterbacks in Norvell's absence.

Highlights from 11-on-11 (veterans):

- Tim White was wide open on a post route with the first team and dropped a sure TD pass from Bercovici.

- Bercovici rebounded with great throws on back-to-back series. On one, he threw an excellent touch pass on a corner route to Raymond Epps for a score, then on the next series he found D.J. Foster on a wheel route out of the backfield for a TD.

- Khaylan Thomas made a leaping interception to pick off Manny Wilkins.

- The first team defense held strong during one of the sessions and was really riled up when they forced a turnover on downs on 4th and short.

- JoJo Wicker had an up-and-down day at DL. Had a pair of nice plays, including a sack and a batted pass at the LOS, but also got caught jumping the snap a pair of times.

Highlights from newcomers session:

- Where Bryce Perkins shone Friday night, Manny Wilkins was the star Saturday. Was solid in the veterans session outside of the aforementioned pick, and in the newcomers session had Ellis Jefferson on a pair of excellent deep passes. Jefferson, by the way, continues to be an excellent practice player.

- Jason Lewis lined up with Bryce Perkins in the backfield, which was massive to say the least. Lewis has become physical enough to where he frustrates defenders into trying to hit after the whistle, which is saying something.

- Perkins has a clear favorite target: Terrell Chatman. The two have hooked up more that a few times during fall camp, and the two roommates have fit in well to each other's skill sets. Perkins is used to dealing with big, physical receivers since his time in high school so it's easy to see why the two work so well together.

- Jay Jay Wilson saw plenty of time as a 3-back, including in the backfield with Perkins.

As always, let me know if you have any questions.
