I was listening to a segment of Gambo's (I'll admit it), Chase Field is switching to Synthetic Turf for many reasons and I was surprised that he approves of it. I'm not much of a baseball fan but it seems like the trendy thing these days in baseball. Watching this Tulsa vs S Florida game, the field looks amazing on tv, I watch Air Force vs SDSU and it looks really bad with I'm assuming Bermuda, and I'll admit the uofeh field looks good on tv. Would ASU consider making this change? Will the use and abuse of the Alliance League and other events they want to hold be a reason to make the switch?
