A drug that was developed for Ebola, and actively being tested for COVID treatment, has shown a lot of promise in early testing.
Testing was done at the University of Chicago w/ 112 patients with severe symptoms. Their results:
"...clinical trial is seeing rapid recoveries in fever and respiratory symptoms, with nearly all patients discharged in less than a week."
We should have results from a nation wide Stage III clinical trial within the next week.
The stock market is up over 3% in after hours right now. The stock for Gilead (who makes the drug) is up over 15%.
