Today's Topic = Are Devils Ready For Prime Time..??
The cupcakes are now behind us and we're moving onto BYU following two less than satisfying wins against vastly inferior opponents, at least in my humble opinion...
Or, am I wrong about that because any win is great no matter how it comes about or against whom it might come, like So Utah or UNLV..??
Is the sloppiness or however you want to characterize our wins due to being overrated or playing down to the competition or something else..??
In any event, we are still unbeaten while the Utes, Buffs and Trojans cannot say the same about their programs after losing yesterday...
UCLA had a BYE week which means only the Devils were a winner in the PAC South yesterday that means we should move up in the rankings, etc...
So for me at least, at this point, I would say the top three teams in the PAC right now are 1) Oregon, 2) UCLA and 3) ASU...
Here are some conference related questions for you...
Is Helton a dead coach walking after that embarrassing loss to Stanford last night..??
He's been on the hot seat for awhile but can anything save him going forward..??
Was there a better coaching job than what the Ducks staff did yesterday in beating Ohio St in Columbus..??
Not only will that put the PAC back in a playoff conversation but it will put the Ducks way up in the national rankings...
Christobal is already a great recruiter and they were missing some key starters yesterday, so maybe the sky is the limit for the Ducks this year...
Then we have the Huskies who really look pretty bad right now and you have to wonder where they will end up by the end of the season with that paltry offense of theirs...
We also have the Cats that got drilled by the Aztecs last night that runs their losing streak to 14 games, if I'm not mistaken...
Do any of you think that the Cats will win a game this season..??
Are they just the PAC equivalent of Fisch bait and nothing more than that even with their new head coach, etc..??
I'd like to see us really become PAC contenders rather than pretenders but BYU is no cupcake and it will take a much better effort by our Sun Devils to win that game in Provo next weekend...

The Cougars had lost nine straight to the Utes and will have a ton of momentum on their side when they host our Sun Devils...
They've beaten one cupcake in the Cats and one against a ranked Utes team while we looked like we were sleep walking in our games against So Utah and UNLV...
Anyone here really confident about beating the Cougars next week based on what you have seen so far of our Sun Devils..??
I think this will be rated a toss-up game and that's probably about right...
What do you think and why..??
Sure want to thank both the Bruins and Ducks for putting our conference front and center on shows like ESPN and other media outlets these past two weeks...
Maybe we're a better conference than some of us thought...
Pretenders or contenders..??
