Hauver really excels seeing a lot of pitches and getting on base. He will work a count almost every time up to bat. He isn't a guy that should be protecting Tork in the line up he should be setting the table for him.
Last year he hit leadoff and did a fantastic job. The line up works better with him in the leadoff spot.
As a side note, I am very glad that Garcia is back. He could be a really good 9 hitter for us.
