ATTIRE: Shells
LOCATION: Kajikawa Practice Fields
MEDIA AVAILABILITY: About 35 minutes
GUESTS: I saw a scout from the Philadelphia Eagles
TILLMAN JERSEY: Tim White
EN VERDE (No contact): OL Marshal Nathe, OL Tyson Rising, DB Maurice Chandler, WR Jalen Harvey, LB Marcus Ball, LB Khaylan Thomas, LB Salamo Fiso (Wasn't dressed), LS Mitchell Fraboni, DB James Johnson (worked out in the dome)
EN VERDE PARTICIPANDO (Limited): WR Jalen Harvey, DB Maurice Chandler
OUT OF GREEN: LB Carlos Mendoza

TAKEAWAY DRILLS: ASU did the standard takeaway drills after stretches. The scoop and score drill was included.

TEAM (Offense vs. Defense, 2-minute drill:

First-team offense: QB Brady White, RB Demario Richard, WR Tim White (slot)/Ellis Jefferson/Cam Smith, TE Kody Kohl, LT Evan Goodman, LG Sam Jones, C Stephon McCray, RG Quinn Bailey, RT Zach Robertson

Second-team offense: QB Manny Wilkins, RB Kalen Ballage, WR N'Keal Harry/Fred Gammage (slot)/Jalen Harvey, TE Raymond Epps, LT Steve Miller, LG Alex Losoya, C A.J. McCollum, RG Cohl Cabral, RT Zach Robertson

First-team defense:JoJo Wicker (DEVIL), George Lea (DT), Tashon Smallwood (DT), LBs Christian Sam/Koron Crump/D.J. Calhoun, Maurice Chandler (nickel), Bryson Echols (field corner), Kareem Orr (boundary corner), J'Marcus Rhodes( field safety), Chad Adams (bandit safety)

Second-team defense: George Lea, Tramel Topps, Renell Wren, LBs Malik Lawal/Deion Guinard/A.J. Latu, Robbie Robinson (field corner), Chase Lucas (boundary corner), Armand Perry (field safety), Eric Lauderdale (bandit safety)

Notes: Both offenses were eventually faced with one "winner take all" play, and each scored. Tim White caught a pass in the air in between coverage in the end zone for the first time. While it was good concentration, it seemed to be poor coverage as none of the defensive backs made a play on the ball in the air, making it relatively easy for White.

The second team used a little fade route to score. Jalen Harvey boxed out Robbie Robinson for an easy touchdown. For as good as Robinson has been in coverage in other areas of the field, he didn't appear to have much of a chance there on the goal line.

The H Drill: ASU ran the H drill today. Due to where the media stands in the outside fields compared to the dome, we were able to get a good look at it. Kareem Orr and Armand Perry each made stellar plays to shed a block and make the tackle on the ball carrier. Additionally, the defense forced one takeaway— Chase Lucas forced a fumble.
