Ticket for Fri night?

Figured I'd check here to see if anyone possibly had an extra ticket for the Utah game before either buying a random single ticket or just watching on tv.

After a week in the pediatric ICU for my 3yr old son (he got out last Sat) my wife and I decided it was best for her and my son to not make the trip from Seattle...just not worth putting him on a plane so quickly with a recovering respiratory system. But because its been almost 3yrs since we've been able to get to the valley we decided me and our daughter should still come.

Originally 4 of us were going to go to the game, it's why booked this trip, but with my wife not traveling and our other friends bailing, its now just me...thankfully I hadn't bought the 4 tickets yet...
So do i just scrap it and hang out with friends and watch the game? Or buy a cheap single ticket and go by myself? Finding a tailgate invite might help with that option lol. Or maybe someone here has an extra ticket that needs a Sun Devil butt to fill it.

STORY: Significant plays in key moments highlight determination through adversity

“We got the guys in here that wanted to be here, and the guys that didn't, they're not." Constructing this ASU team in the offseason went well beyond evaluating pure talent, and this has allowed ASU to develop the character shining through close wins

Know Your Foe: Utah

Coming off a loss to Arizona, and with the availability of their starting quarterback unknown, there is a perceived state of flux in one of the most stable programs in college football. How do those elements and others affect the Utes ahead of Friday’s game with ASU? Ute Nation Publisher Alex Markham discusses those aspects in depth.

Utah reporter on Cam Rising

KSL Story
Utah radio personality and columnist (and ASU Grad) PK Kinahan writes about Cam Rising today.

Basically says Whitt won’t say anything about Rising and it’s getting old.

Comments from the article overwhelmingly want to move on from Rising.

I couldn’t tell you if Rising gives them a better chance to win or not. He’s clearly a fantastic QB but isn’t it fair to question his chemistry, timing, and how he would play considering his injuries?

Second string QB for next year suggestion

I wonder if ASU would take a look at this guy. I know the family, he is from my hometown. He came from a small town in Iowa and blew up after his junior year, one a couple state titles. Ended up at Iowa State and redshirted behind Purdy than started as a redshirt freshman, beating out the guy playing now. He beat Iowa that year and the future looked bright but got kicked off the team for beating on a couple football games. I think he was out of football for year but is doing really well playing JUCO ball this year putting up big numbers for a really good JUCO team. Maybe he wants to play and goes small school but he could probably win the second string job next year and we may not have a lot of options with Sam locking down the job as a freshman. I believe he will have two years left. Hunter Dekkers.

Edit: Maybe not, he would have to win an appeal.

STORY: Sun Devils’ resolve will be put to the test versus Utah

“It shows our mental toughness. You can’t flip a switch and turn that on. This week will be a good test for us to see how much we can do that.” A caliber of opponent that ASU has yet to see this year will challenge the trait that has netted the Sun Devils a current 4-1 mark

NIL Questions?

Honestly, I am so confused with how NIL payments work. Is there any clarity or guidelines at all, or is just every school does their own thing? For instance, do the players receive NIL payments with no contract, no "quid pro quo", where a player has too actually do something besides just playing the sport and allowing someone to use their name, image, or likeness? Is there, or can there be, some requirement that the player must stay at the school to get the money, or performance based (better stats more money)? I am OK (took a long time to get there though) with players getting compensated for their name, image, or likeness, but it shouldn't be a one-sided agreement in my opinion. The player should be required to have some skin in the game, meaning they should at least have to agree to stay a certain amount of time at the school to receive the full amount of NIL. Otherwise, it's just a "hired gun" pay to play to the highest bidder type of thing. Maybe that is what it is, if so, it stinks in my view. The player needs some protection to, are these NIL deals in writing and guaranteed? What if the player gets hurt, or doesn't perform well, can the NIL agreement be terminated without due process or any legal problems? I guess I am just vented a little here, but I sure would like some clarity on this if anyone knows how this NIL thing works for both the player, the school, and whoever is giving the NIL money. Thanks.
