The local paper pointed out that UofA's 15 straight losses is just 2 short of tying the longest losing streak in the history of the Suns, D'Backs, Coyotes, Cardinals, ASU and UofA Football and Basketball.

The Suns and D'Backs hold the record for 17 straight losses.

ASU Football's longest losing streak was 7 games in 1936 -1937
