This impacts the Pac 12, so I don't feel bad posting it here. I was talking with someone today that is I consider to be fairly well connected and he said that Xavier's Chris Mack is a top candidate for the Indiana job. This means Alford stays put at UCLA.
Then, the guy (Pat Kelsey, former Winthrop coach) that just backed out of the UMass job minutes before the press conference and who is a Xavier alum, would replace Mack at XU.
I know by now you're on the edge of your seat, but I have not heard any names for the opening at Winthrop.
