A while back someone posted about wishing they knew more about who on DD owned businesses so they could patronage or refer them to others, and I remember a quite a few people echoing the sentiments.
It's been rattling around in my head for a while and I'm just slow enough right now to consider building a website for the die hard Sun Devil community to connect for professional purposes. Spam is a huge issue in networking sites so it would have to be monitored carefully and require accounts and passwords to keep the riff-raff out, but it could be a good networking tool for a lot of us.
My question is - before I undertake any of this; How many people would be interested in some kind of directory/list of pro-ASU businesses? And if so, what features would you like to see included in such a site?
