I just realized that we finally reached parity with the Cats. No longer do we have to suffer the sigma of being Tempe Normal or Arizona State College at Tempe:
Both schools have the same USNWR rating
Both schools will have 5-7 football teams
Both schools will be led by freshman QBs (at least part of the time)
Both schools won't have to play in cheezy bowl games
Both schools can help some football coaches clear out their offices after the season.
Both schools will happily turn their attention to basketball. Go Bobby!! Pay 'em, Sean!!
Both schools have declining football attendance--with more to come
I could go on-and-on but you get the drift, we're U of A and they're us. That's why the TV announcers are always mixing us up. There's no difference. We're reached parity with them. Mission accomplished.
