ATTIRE: Helmets
LOCATION: Verde Dickey Dome
MEDIA AVAILABILITY: About 35 minutes
GUESTS: I saw a scout from the Bears there today.
TILLMAN JERSEY: None
EN VERDE (No contact): There were only a few players in green on Friday. Todd Graham was joking with the media about how we were going to figure out who was still injured.
The ones I saw in green were Khaylan Thomas, Das Tautalatasi and Maurice Chandler..
As Fabian reported yesterday, "Goose" Cosgrove suffered a knee injury in the W drill, but I didn't see him out at practice.
TE Grant Martinez and LS Mitchell Fraboni were dressed, but in shoes instead of cleats. The others I saw on muscle beach were DEVIL JoJo Wicker, OL Marshal Nathe and OL Tyson Rising.
Note: Raymond Epps was running through drills, but had a big cast on his right hand and we did not see him in team drills.
After doing the ball security drills, ASU ran an 11-on-11 two-minute drill. It did not appear to be as lengthy as other two-minute drills we've seen, but there was one turnover. Kalen Ballage had the ball knocked out of his hands, it popped up and Christian Sam caught it.
Other than that, it was pretty standard and the period ended with a Zane Gonzalez 42-yard field goal.
Here is how the depth chart looked:
First-team O: QB Brady White, RB Kalen Ballage, WRs Tim White (slot)/Ellis Jefferson/Cam Smith, TE Kody Kohl, LT Evan Goodman, LG Sam Jones, C Stephon McCray, RG Quinn Bailey, RT Zach Robertson
Second-team O: QB Manny Wilkins, RB Kalen Ballage, WRs Tim White (slot)/Ellis Jefferson/Jalen Harvey, TE Kody Kohl, LT Evan Goodman, LG Sam Jones, C Stephon McCray, RG Quinn Bailey, RT Zach Robertson
Defense: Smallwood (DT), Ami Latu (nose), Renell Wren (DE), Malik Lawal/Koron Crump (DEVIL, rotated), D.J. Calhoun (SAM), Christian Sam (WILL), Tyler Whiley (SPUR), Bryson Echols (FC), Kareem Orr (BC) , Chad Adams (BS), Armand Perry (FS)
Safeties were aligned so Perry was closer to the line of scrimmage. Adams was playing back on the secondary.
Note: Demario Richard was not in. Also, the first and second teams for the offense were nearly identical, but I gave both teams for comparison purposes.
Following the team session, there was one more period. The D-line worked on tackling drills, the )-line worked with the bags and the receivers were working on the far side.

Tomorrow's scrimmage is closed to the media, but we will be at interviews tomorrow and will have content after that.
